When shipping a package to Canada, the importer is responsible for the clearance unless other arrangements are made. If the exporter doesn’t want Canadian customers to take this on, the EU exporter can register as a non-resident importer.

For example, do they have a tool that tallies the exact door-to-door shipping costs, including customs fees and taxes, known as “landed costs?” Do they have tracking tools that enable you to keep tabs on your package at any time?
